Who Shot Honky van Henderson?

This piece evolved sort of strangely. Initially, I just wanted to draw another one of them chocolate-skinned gals, and taking a bit of inspiration from old blaxploitation movies, I came up with the character here. The name "Honky van Henderson" just sort of jumped into my head. I asked if he would watch a movie called "Who Shot Honky van Henderson?" and he assured me if such a movie existed he would make a point to own it.

At that point, it was pretty much certain that I had to finish this for the good of mankind.

By the by, that's my pale, fat hand covered in blood there.

I may expand this into a small series because I want to explore a series of characters sort of like "Fox Force Five" from Pulp Fiction. This character's name, Mallaard and I decided, is Cocoa Pepperqueen. The other characters will be similarly and extravagantly named.

Anyway, I think I need to take a break from digital art for a while. I'm getting a little sick of ol' workhorse Photoshop.
